How do you do? (Handle in Toy dog stranded polar)?

So I want to do mine and my friend the dog a toy like this tug; http://ny-image3.etsy.com/il_fullxfull.82401119.jpg I just wanted to know how the manufacturer who made the circuit in the handle, without having to make a knot at the end of it? I wonder because it seems much more care with nodes at the ends of the handles. Thanks

It appears that you begin weaving in the center of its sleeve. Put a heavy weight (like bricks) in the center and start to knit the first half of a point, then anchored with other heavy object. Now plait the other half of the handle at the same distance as the other party. unite the two ends together by combining and continue the braid. Then a knot in the end that's all. Very nice idea - I'll make one for my dog!
