What use is made of dog life jackets used for?

I have a life jacket for my dachshund, but I do not understand why necessary?

Ha ha, indeed, a very good question. Life jackets for dogs are made for people who bring their pets with them the boat. As lifejackets human primary objective of these is whether the dog will not choke if you get tired. This course, everything happens for a boating accident in which all we had to jump overboard. Also a dachshund is not a "water dog, which means that even if your dog likes to swim, are not exactly built for that particular sport. So really, unless you own a boat, or bring your dog to the beach a lot not really need a life jacket for her. Even if it looks cute!
