Dog booties / socks?

As the weather gets colder in Chicago, I tried to make dog boots for my dog. It has small feet. (Boston Terrier / Pitbull) She hates! She walks like a windmill. Does anyone have suggestions for the "house" shoes or socks? I just need something to keep feet warm / dry enough to be out for atleast 5 minutes for her to go to the bathroom. I checked a few websites that offer the tape, but I'm not sure the idea of hitting the tape at the feet of my dogs.
