Who is the expressionist painter, who painted a dog blue / yellow?

George Rodrigue (13 March 1944) is a Cajun artist who grew up in New Iberia, Louisiana. Rodrigo began painting the outdoor family gatherings, surrounded by trees clothed in an area oakmoss of French Louisiana known as Acadiana. Rodrigue attended the Christian Brothers high school all the men called Saint Peter 's College (now Catholic High School) which was located near St. Peter 's Church, and on the banks of Bayou Teche because it runs through New Iberia. He studied art formally at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (then known as the University of Southwestern Louisiana) and the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. Then, formed in New York, and became well known for his themes of Expressionism abstract Cajun inspired by their roots. Rodrigue first notable works include dinner aioli and Three Oaks. He has also designed three posters for the New Orleans Jazz Festival Heritage, featuring portraits of Louis Armstrong, Pete Fountain and Al Hirt. More recently and in the world is known for his creation of the Blue Dog, assigned to his dog died named Tiffany and influenced by the legend of the Loup Garou. The blue dog was made popular by Absolut Vodka in 1992, when Rodrigue was honored as an artist for Absolut Vodka, joining artists like Andy Warhol and glass artist Hans Godo Frabel. The blue dog was used for both by Absolut Vodka and Xerox Corporation through national advertising campaigns. The shades of blue, phantom poodle / terrier is often highlighted with a white nose and yellow eyes. Its symbol helped coin the term Blue Dog Democrat referred to a Conservative member of the Democratic Party.
